“Gibraltar was very cool. The tour day is long. It takes about 2.5 hours to get to Gibraltar. So have to go thru immigration and cross an airfield. So that’s an experience. In my opinion the time in town is too long. There’s nothing really special there. The time on the rock is very rushed. Our tour guide, Daniella, was great. Very kind. Our driver, Angel, on the rock portion didn’t act like he wanted to be there. He rushed us. We were at the lookout point where you could see Morocco and he Said nothing informative. So we didn’t know until we got back that we actually saw Africa.…”

“This tour was okay, but nothing special, aside from St Michaels Caves. It was a long time in the car (my driver Jose was superb) and then a confusing passing through the passport checkpoint. We didn’t spend much time in any one spot and also didn’t really see town. There wasn’t proper guidance about how to be around the monkeys (don’t carry food, be watchful that they will go after your things, etc) and it was a bit chaotic and I didn’t feel that safe with the monkeys honestly. The whole thing felt very expensive with limited value.”

“The guide, Carlos, was difficult to understand. His instructions on dealing with the monkeys, for example, were impossible to decifer. When the group was walking, he was at the front, never checking if everyone was following. We almost missed a turn, but others in the group waited for us. He was asked to pay more attention, but did not. We have had several guides on this trip who actually put effort into helping people enjoy the trip. He, alas, was doing the minimum. I would suggest he work in his English and improve his attitude.”

When we arrived for the guided tour of the rock it felt very unorganised and turned out that to many passengers had been booked for the size of the bus therefore we had to wait 30 minutes for another bus with enough seats. The driver Peter was knowledgeable and obviously passionate about his city. Unfortunately the whole trip felt rushed and there was little time left to stop in the town to eat…”
